Author and Illustrator Philip Johnston has created this special edition children's book to celebrate the role of Charles Thomson and the Declaration of Independence, which celebrates its 250th anniversary in 2026.  Charles was born in Northern Ireland, 1729. He left at ten years old to start a new life in the Colonies. Charles became a Founding Father of the United States, being one of only two official names on the first Declaration of Independence, designed the Presidential Seal and escorted George Washington to his inauguration!
